Sarah Means is a Junior at Case Western Reserve University. She is a Communication Sciences major and plans to go on to graduate school to become a Speech Language Pathologist. Sarah has always wanted to work with children, and throughout her life has found different ways to be involved with a range of age groups. She most recently became a camp counselor at a summer camp for kids with behavioral, emotional, and learning difficulties. This summer Sarah realized that everyone deserves the chance to be the best version of themselves, and that most of the children she met at camp had just never had that chance. Sarah will be giving a talk titled “How to Convince a Nine Year Old to Apologize to a Door: Tales of a Camp Counselor”.
